works well, just don't be an idot

Worked well for crank arm removal. Just make sure that it's threaded into the crank arm fully (tighten with a wrench). Otherwise you may strip out your crank arm threads and then it's time for the angle grinder and a new spindle or bottom bracket. guess it's a no duh thing, but easy to forget about. The spindles are hardened steel so a hack saw wont cut it.

Great Product

This works great. It has two attachments so you can pull off cranks with different fittings. I've never come across a pair of cranks which this failed to pull off.

Did the job

Ordered this after stripping the threads on a crank puller I purchased from Amazon. This one removed the same crank with no problem and got me back in operation.

Best tool for removing crank arms

The title says it all. After tightening the tool on to the crank arm, turning the inside piece pushed the crank arm out like butter. If you are removing your crank, you would be so happy that you got one of these tools!

A must for fixing older bikes

It works very well. The one thing that it won't work one are French cranks such Stronglight.

just works

Works perfectly every time. Might want to get a breaker bar and a socket though.

product has changed

the two floating tips now attach to both ends so you don't lose one.there is no allen wrench crank bolt remover. the removeable tips are why I bought this tool. I recieved CWP-7 compact crank puller. I like the updated version- i just have to find a allen wrench to start the removal of crank bolts
