Pedro's  Oranj Peelz Citrus Degreaser - 16 oz.

I first used this cleaner in one of the REI bike maintenance clinics and I was impressed at how well it worked and its "green" potential... I bought some that night. Every time I used it though I kept smelling something else too. So I finally looked at the ingredient list and discovered the primary ingredient is mineral spirits. I'm not really sure if the added citrus makes a difference for the degreasing, but I do know you can buy a whole lost more mineral spirits for the price of this little bottle. I'll keep looking for a "greener" option or just buy plain ol' mineral spirits.

I just recently purchased this cleaner at the suggestion of a bike shop maintenance technician and as far as I can tell after one use, it works very well! Prior to using the oranj peelz cleaner, I had made my own simple solution to clean my bike chain and used a chain cleaning tool to perform the task. I had only rode my bike about 16 miles between that cleaning session and the next using the Pedros cleaner so my chain was pretty clean already - or at least so I thought! When I used my own solution to clean the chain, the waste liquid leftover in the cleaning tool wasn't really that dirty in appearance. Then when I used the oranj peelz cleaner, it was shocking how filthy the waste liquid was inside the cleaning tool! So my initial impression so far with this product is that it does what it is supposed to and appears to be extremely effective!

I bought a tool with a reservoir to clean gunked up bike chains [...]. [...] It was easy and very effective. For all you avid cyclist out there, do yourself a favor and give your chain a good cleaning and then lubricate. You'll definitely notice the difference especially if you've never cleaned it before.

This is degreaser. Not much to say there. It comes in a squeeze bottle. It works well for getting grease and gunk off of any of your bike parts. Smells good enough to eat. If you've got a tough part, this stuff works great to soak the part in and then scrub it after a few minutes. It also works well if you put it on a rag and clean your derailleur without taking anything apart.

I've always used regular degreasers and this was the first time I tried a citrus degreaser. I used it in my hand held bike chain scrubbing tool and it did the job even better than my previous degreasers. It degreased the chain quickly and easily. The few drips on the garage floor also cleaned up nicely. I'm glad I switched.

Pedro's degreaser seem to clean better than other products without the chemical odors that linger.

Works exactly as I was hoping it to. In a few instances you'll need to give the chain a second cleaning, but for the most part one cleaning gets the chain nice and clean

Product works great but would like a nozzle type top so I could easily squirt it into my chain cleaning device.

Great degreaser, even took off the factory gunk from a new chain!

Works well and, as an added bonus, like the citrus smell.
