4/5 on the Yakima Locks. Do you live in New York or are you visiting New York or are you even, at this moment, thinking about New York (or any other area full of people)?!? Then buy these for your rack, rack accessories, and various Yakima materials. People WILL take your rack, and these work as a functional deterrent to prevent such theft. Yakima is also nice about replacing keys and these are simple to install, so no complaints there. Why 4 out of 5, then? Probably because if you spent 400+ on a rack system, it'd be nice to get these. Kind of obnoxious to purchase them at such a steep rate on the side. So it goes.
Fits Mopar's Jeep Roof Rack System (82215387AB)
Sometimes mixing and matching manufactures can be scary, but Yakima's SKS Lock Cores fit perfectly within Mopar's Roof Rack system (Item #82215387AB) which is designed for the 2021 Jeep Wrangler hardtop.

Now we no longer have to concern ourselves with taking the racks off the roof if we decide to run in to a restaurant or a store. Fit easily, and securely into our Yakima Jaylow kayak racks.
New life in my bike rack
Restored my Yakima bike rack. Locks were frozen and they would not budge. The best part? I went to the bike shop at the Atlanta store and they helped me/showed me how to pull the cylinders. Service is everything and REI has it if you need it. Customer for life!! Well I already have been for 30 years!!

It's nice that the locks come in a package of 4 so you only need 1 key. But i think they are expensive.

Makes me feel so much safer with the locks on the roof rack!
Great piece of mind
Only issue I have with these locks is that they didn't already come with my Jlo rack, but for the cost of a Jlo rack they are totally worth the piece of mind and convience factor of being able to leave my racks on my car and not having to worry about theft.

Work as expected
Nothing really to say other than they just work! Can’t say how easy they are to pick. But it adds some level of deferent. My OEM Tesla rack uses SKS lock cores. REI doesn’t sell specific key codes. But I asked the staff at my local store if they could look to see if they happen to have ones with the same codes and they did!
Overpriced Branded Multi Lockset
Overpriced Multi Lockset from Yakima. They do what they’re supposed to. Easy to install. These four little locks cost half as much as the bike rack itself! But you have no choice if you want any security at all.
