Amazing rack

We recently upgraded bikes from regular to e-bikes and realized we needed a rack that was rated for higher weight than my Yakima. A salesman where I bought my bike from, raved about Kuat racks so after researching the options, I settled on this one. So glad I did. Super well made, easy to assemble and has some great options- a knob to eliminate hitch rattle when it's mounted to the vehicle, easy to adjust bike keepers, can fold up or down and the integral security cable lock that is keyed the same as the hitch pin lock. This rack blows all the other high end bike racks that I have seen away.

Solid rack

Initial impression is very positive. Easy assembly and installation, and the rack feels solid. Super easy to load, and our 40+ lbs eMTBs are held securely. No rattles, no swaying, very stable. So much easier to load than our previous Thule EasyFold XT. The only thing I wish for is the option to add wheel locks, similar to what the 1Up racks offer. The lock provided by Kuat, while convenient, probably won't hold up long to a determined bike thief. Altogether a well-built, well-finished hitch rack.

High quality product.

Quality build. All features perform as expected. Easy to follow setup instructions. The included loading ramp is a plus for heavy eMTB's and works great with analog bikes too. I purchased the optional light (LED) kit which is a great addition to this solid bike rack. Noticed this rack in a recent Mountain Bike Action periodical. Based on the description it was time to upgrade to a new bike rack.

Wanted To Love This Rack

I have been waiting for a long time for Kuat to come out with an electric bike rack. I had previously bought the Kuat NV 2.0 and genuinely loved it. I bought this rack for a Serfas fat tire E bike. It was relatively easy to assemble. However, as I began putting the bike on, there were several things I felt like needed to be changed for me to give this bike a better rating. The arms that extend to hold the tires in place needed to be able to be extended and also have some semblance of padding on them as many E bike‘s have fenders. Therefore, these arms are not as sturdy and hold the bikes as well as the NV 2.0. Also, I like the straps that they gave you that will additionally help you to secure the bike to the rack however, these needed to be a bit longer as they are very difficult to get over a flat tire bike. If these improvements would be made, I would give this rack five stars. However, in the current state, I would only rate it three..
