This shoe is incredibly uncomfortable, the heel area is very tight and rubs and is so stiff. As is the rest of the shoe. I had a hard time no matter how much I loosened the laces in getting my foot in this shoe, it's that stiff. As usual Keen sizing is not uniform, so I ordered my usual size 7 and my toe hurts the top! They make their own shoes right?? How can you not get this right? So now I have to pay for shipping now if I want another pair of something else.
I bought these shoes in December 2024 to wear this spring. Too late to return once I finally got a chance to test them out on my daily three mile walks. Maybe the bugs have been fixed on the newest model, but mine leak, the toe box is too tight, and the rubber toe cap is starting to come off. I’ve put about 50 miles on them, plus one bike ride. The soles slip off bike pedals, so beware.
After wearing an athletic shoe to walk, these feel surprisingly cushion-y and comfortable. The laces are horrible and get loose as you walk but the shoe itself seems sturdy and will be my daily walker until the weather heats up, as these will likely be too hot for dry summer conditions
I have a pair of Dansko waterproof sneakers but they are clunky. I was hoping for a lighter version for urban walking in the PNW. These are not them. I actually weighed them on a postage scale. Didn't look too bad though. I normally wear 6. 5 and my toes touched these 6. 5. Size up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit stepped right in and I love th no break in feel. my only problem is that the shoelaces don’t stay tied . I have to find a way to to keep them secured or possibly get a different shoelace. Otherwise they are a perfect fit and that’s what matters most to me.
I really do enjoy the fit and I can feel the sturdy sole which is why I buy this brand. My previous purchases were the hiking boots but I'm getting almost 70 so I'm doing a little more walking.
The sizing was way off. It was the ugliest shoe I’ve ever tried from Keen, and I’ve been wearing Keen shoes for years. I don’t know what’s happened, but quality has really gone by the wayside.
I need a wide toe box, but not necessarily a wide shoe. Keens are the BEST for this. Love the waterproof, especially slushing through the snow while walking the dog
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these shoes! I walk in them, hike in them and just enjoy life in them! Keen shoes are sturdy and reliable. And fashionable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe has the look of a supportive wear. But it was not the usual roomy toebox of a keen. I returned them
