I was worried that this skirt would be too short, but because I’m only 5’6”, it looks a little longer on me than it does on the models, which I’m happy about. I have the Breeze pants and the Breeze shorts, and the Breeze skirt has the same awesome wide and stretchy waistband. Also, I have to give a special thank you to whomever at Free Fly decided to make this a skirt instead of a skort. I am SO over skorts and have been looking everywhere for a sporty, lightweight SKIRT. Thank you for realizing that adult women are competent enough to select their own undergarments and don’t need them sewn in so that we don’t forget to wear them…
My go-to Skirt.
This is hands down my fav skirt. The pull on style sits perfectly right above the hips and stays put! I don’t have adjust it all day, it just stays in place. It is the perfect length, not boxy, it is versatile and flattering. I have 3 different colors. The Blue is not as bright as the picture; it’s definitely more of a muted bluish gray color. I have worn them hiking, fishing, as a swim suit cover up, dressed it up for church and a day out with the girls. Packs easily, rolls up to nothing and doesn’t wrinkle. Highly recommend. True to size. I’m 5’4”, 150 with curvy hips and thighs. medium-fits great.
Not a skort and runs small
For the price, I was totally thinking this had a liner. My bad for not reading more to clarify this, although it does seem pricey for no liner. The sizing is also off based on the size guide. According to the guide, I should be a small, but it's gapping quite a bit on the backside and is just tight overall. If you don't have much of a backside at all, it would probably fit better. The color I got was on clearance so I can't return, otherwise I would probably return and get the Women's Bamboo-Lined Active Breeze Skort instead!
Just buy one, you won’t regret it!
I had been hoping Free Fly would come out with a skirt. When I saw this new skirt online, I was skeptical and hesitant to order one without any reviews. Finally, I took the plunge and ordered a black one. When I slipped it on, I had immediate regret that I did not order more colors. It is super comfortable on my waist and is just roomy and long enough for me to be able to move around comfortably with my kids. I am 5’10”, 155 lbs and a long torso and ordered a Medium. This skirt will be my go-to piece for the summer.

NOT LINED!
Man, they really missed the mark on not lining this skirt. What a bummer. I had preferred this skirt over their other one because I liked the waistband more. But I absolutely need it lined other wise, what's it good for? My other complaint is that the color was so off. I ordered the light blue, but it definitely leans more towards green. Such a bummer to return this skirt. Would've been cute for Disney World. Just put a liner in it, please.
Travel must have
Bought this skirt for a trip that included boating, hiking and beach time. Was perfect for a boat excursion that also had a waterfall hike. Very light weight, traveled well and kept me cool in 90 degree weather. Also dried quickly after getting wet. Functional and stylish. I am 5’5”, 135 and got a medium so I could exercise in the skirt without being tight.
Easy Skirt
I love the option for a skirt when the skort has become so popular. I’m 5’8” and the length is prefect. I’m a small in Athleta but purchased this in a medium, the waste can be cinched tighter if needed and because its elastic it stays in place (although I didn’t try a small, a fear it might have shifted to my natural waist since it’s lightweight).
Cool and breezy
As hoped this skirt is a good fit, nice color, and it is cool and breezy in the heat of the summer. This does dry quickly as well. My only suggestion to Free Fly is to target thinner waistbands when using an elastic waistband. This one is really thick and on my small frame it can appear and feel overwhelming. And it is hot.
Fit not as I hoped
I was hoping that this skirt would have the same or a similar fit as the two earlier skorts I had bought. Unfortunately - this skirt is not a good fit around the waist - I have to keep pulling it down - as it keeps climbing up -I don't think a smaller size would have helped and it would have been tight around the hips.
