A high quality jacket with all the features you want for skiing. Not too bulky. However, it is fairly short in the body (not arms). If you are under 5'10", probably fine. Taller and this will ride above your waistline. Will not work with ski pants for taller people, but may with a bib. Had to return it, but wish it were sized better.
Love this jacket. Just came, so with a lack of snow it hasn't been used yet. But the fit is just right, not bulky, but with pit zips in the right places, discreet zippered pockets, and all thought out for performance. Love the high collar and fitted, zip-off hood. And the inner sleeves to keep snow out of my glove tops. And the fabric is soft, not slick or hard like many jackets. This is a great jacket.
One of the better jackets I've tried on. At 5'9", it is perfect fit for me. Arms feel a tiny hair long but good so far with some xc skiing. Looking forward to some downhill in it this winter. Build quality seems fantastic. I'm changing from an older North Face shell and was a little concerned this may be too warm but it's great so far and has venting as needed.
great fit, great price. You can layer underneath, flexibile with your movement
