Practical and durable
The size is just right, not too big or too small, perfect for me. The only downside might be that the shoulder straps are a bit thin; it would be perfect if they could be thicker. There are five pockets, which can hold quite a lot. The small bag at the back is good for putting a phone and all kinds of small items! Overall, I'm quite satisfied with it—it's not fancy or gaudy at all!
Great on-the-go travel pack!
This bag is great for keeping your most important travel items within reach on whatever journey you plan to take! There are compartments help keep the essentials organized and accessible no matter how you choose to wear it. I carry my passport, phone, keys, tickets, and cards and cash through the airport, or fill it with granola bars, sunscreen, and bug spray for the perfect lightweight hiking waistpack. I originally bought one in orange but couldn't resist buying another when I saw this color at REI. Versatile, practical, and an all around great accessory.

When I put my phone and earphone credit card in my jacket or pants pocket, it popped out and was bulky and inconvenient. The bag size is also appropriate, practical and good
It's worth it.
This is my go-to accessory while at work in a retail environment. It is small, but mighty. I keep keys, key-cards, lip balm, hair ties, protein bars, and other daily needs in it, with room to spare. It's got a really thick lining, too, which is really nice. I wasn't sure about spending this much on a waist bag, but after a few months of use it's amazing and I want another one as backup.

Picked this up a while ago for use as my every day bag, now I use it as my waist pack for my every day runs and hikes. It looks small but honestly i've fit so many things in there. Recently went on a long bike ride I fit in a packable windbreaker, a set of l tools, my phone, wallet, keys earbuds case and a bag of gummies. I love this little pack I wish REI sold the Mantis 2 so I guess the main website at arcteryx it is.
Small but Mighty!
I bought the Arc’teryx Mantis 1 Waistpack for casually going on errands and travel, and it’s exceeded my expectations. It’s compact but holds way more than you’d think—wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, snacks, and even a small sunscreen, all organized and easy to access. The quality is excellent (as expected from Arc’teryx)—lightweight, durable, and water-resistant enough to handle a light drizzle. The zippers are smooth and reliable, and the internal layout is super functional, especially the hidden back pocket for valuables. I love that it works equally well around the waist or slung crossbody. It’s low-profile, stylish, and goes with everything. Great for everything from trail walks to travel days to everyday errands. One note is that it will not fit any water bottles but not a deal breaker. If you’re looking for a small, well-designed pack that doesn’t compromise on function or style, this is it! Love the colorways!
Small, handy, and stylish
The bag is handy and nice looking. It is a little smaller than I anticipated, and the darker sections are a little more purple than blue. It fits my glasses, a wallet, and my cell phone, and that's about it. It's a very good choice if you need a little extra space.
Never received the item
I ordered it 1 month ago. It showed me only take few days to delivery. But I still have not received it yet after 1 month. The delivery date keep changing. I am not sure what is going on.
