I got these last winter and I Love how they are thick and hold me in... but I legit put my finger through the pant leg. Im so sad because they are my favorite. The girls love this color combo too. Im not sure what to think about the tearing of the pants but before then I felt like they kept me super warm, and dry while running in Chicagos cold winters. These are so good that when you open the pocket you can feel the actual temps outside of the pants so you want to hurry up and zip them back up. I will replace these but I will also try not to be so aggressive when putting then on and off. If they didn't rip I would have given these 5 stars!
I bought this along with the matching shirt. At 5’7”, 120lbs I bought a large. Perfect fit! Super warm and stretchy.
I bought these bottoms to replace a very old pair of the same ones. My old ones are probably close to 20+ years old and were likely close to first generation of this product. The old ones are still in use but i wanted another pair on standby. The newer model fit more snugly. I weigh less than i used to and still needed to size up from a small to a medium. Nearly everything else i wear from Arcteryx is size small or 4 short in pants! Thusly, if you have an athletic body type, my advice would be to size up. These fit snugly and they are warmer for their weight than i thought they would be. They are a good mid range base layer that should easily fit under most pants.
I just bought these and have snowboarded them three days now and when I got home I was super shocked to see that they had a hole on the butt…I couldn’t believe it. Just makes me think the material is not all it’s said to be for the cost that just shouldn’t happen. They fit great and feel amazing on but the tear that happened on only day 3 of riding in them has be very disappointed and I will be returning for a refund or possibly and exchange to try them once more…

I bought my Rho bottoms to wear as a base layer on some easy fall hiking. I am so disappointed in the quality of these pants, I expect much more from arcteryx. Pros: they are extremely comfortable and do provide the warmth I was looking for. Cons: multiple seems started to fray and come off the pants within two washes/four wears. These bottoms will not last.
Hi there, thanks for sharing your feedback on the Rho Bottom. We are sorry to hear about the stitching issues you experienced. We noticed you submitted a Product Service Request and our team provided a resolution.
I would not recommend these as a base layer for snow sports. Originally was hoping to use these for yoga, walks, and for snowboarding. On the first wear, a giant hole ripped in the rear of the pants. I have had plenty of other brand leggings last many years. This is definitely not a premium product, I would avoid this one.

I love these bottoms, I have 3 pairs! I use them primarily as a base layer while backcountry skiing but I do have one question: what's with the pocket? If there was no pocket these would be perfect. The description says "for a smartphone" idk why you want a smartphone inside a base layer where you can't reach it without taking off the top layer? The pocket material is not stretchy so to have a piece of non-stretchy fabric sewn into an extremely stretchy material makes for some weird pulling.
They have perfect combination of stretch, staying in place and warms. Used them as base layer under pants, as pajama for camping in cold and they did not cut blood circulation! If you between sizes - size down.
I use this under shell pants for skiing, ice climbing, and by themselves for running. They are perfect. Been using them for years. My first pair is probably 10 years old, and as good as the day I bought it.
Love these. Cozy and stretchy. I’ve switched to buying Men’s tho, for longer inseam. Wear them to stay warm around the house and for winter running, snowshoeing, and XC skiing.
