The men's version is so much better! I bought the Rho (men's version) earlier this year and loved them. When I found the women's version at REI, I was happy to have a second pair. I was disappointed to find that the zippered pocket is slightly smaller than on the men's version making it very hard to get a phone in/out of the pocket. It really has be crammed in sideways for it to fit. Also, I didn't notice it right away, but these pants are not gusseted, unlike the men's version. The gussets make a much nicer fit! While these pants are still cozy, I would opt for the men's version instead. I'm 5'11' and about 160lbs.
Great base layer for snow sports. I’ve been wearing 2 pairs of base layer pants for skiing to accomplish the warmth I needed. Just tried these today - they’re awesome! A little like pulling on a wetsuit with regard to a snug fit but once on they’re very comfortable, fleece lined, warm but not bulky at all. I highly recommend these base layer pants from Arcteryx.
I usually need to wear two layers of pant and doubt if this single layer is enough, I was wrong. Very soft and comfortable, also very warm and breathable. Highly recommend!
They are very warm and comfortable. They fit true to size. The quality of the fabric is good and they are easy to move around in.
The fit, the warm and the feel of these pants are worth the price. I wore them to walk outside when it was below freezing and the pants kept my legs warm. I liked them so much that I ordered a second pair. I'll wear them a lot this winter.
A must have for colder days in Chicago! Fleece inside lining, a bit stretchy, sizing runs normal I would say ( I am a Size Medium). Pants fit best for taller people, wish they had or can start making Petite Fit for chicks like me.
