This tent is absolutely amazing! Set-up was incredibly easy—I’d recommend watching a few YouTube videos beforehand to make the process even smoother. Once the guy lines are adjusted, everything feels solid, and this tent isn’t going anywhere. The tent is listed as a 6-person, but you can definitely fit a few more if needed. The built-in stove jack was also very simple to use. I’d recommend pairing it with the Colorado Stove - Mesa (small), since the Spruce (medium) feels a bit too bulky. A couple of extras make a big difference: • The White Duck 13x13 footprint keeps everything tidy and clean during takedown, and it even fits perfectly in the carry bag. • The included mallet is sufficient for stakes, but using a hatchet or metal hammer makes the job much easier. And for the finishing touch—string some fairy lights around the loops for a cozy, magical vibe.
I bought this tent to glamp out of my truck when me and the wife aren't backpacking. I always wanted a hot tent and finally got one. I can tell this is built very well. and a lot of the preconceived notions I had about this tent being difficult to set up. it was instantly washed away when I saw the things the company did to make this easy. I set up and took down the tent alone in my backyard. I watched a YouTube video from the company white duck. it was very easy to follow the video. you basically stake the tent out. put the two pulls in and guideline it out. done. The tent comes with these little metal devices for the guy lines that makes tightening them insanely easy. you don't have to make any of your own knots. simply turn the metal triangle. pull it down tight and then release. and you have a taunt, locked tent. I'd say overall setting up and taking down the tent alone maybe took me 20-30mins on my first try. it prob be 15-20 with two people. none of it is a headache. it's just walking around the entire tent in a star pattern to tightly secure everything. I used a tent with a nomad medium stove. there's plenty of room. there's plenty of room inside the tent for this model I'm going to say for about 2-4 people. 2 people it's huge. keeps The heat in well and overall I can just tell this things made Premium. getting everything folded and back into the storage bag I came with was also pretty easy. if you even considering it, I highly recommend it. I can't wait to go bring this out into actual cold temps.
