I liked these socks better before REI left me hanging by delaying then canceling my order. If you don’t have something be up front about it. I felt I got Irish goodbyed on the green socks.
Solid Socks
These are good wool socks. They are thin enough for conventional shoes and keep my feet warm (I bought them for winter wear). They aren't soft but also aren't scratchy. They are very comfortable.
Quality and warm
I exclusively wear wool/merino blend socks in the winter because cotton socks don’t handle water well and acrylic socks often don’t breathe well. These socks are well made and perfectly sized. The colors were exactly what was looking for. They are mildly scratchy compared to some of my premium merino blend socks but not enough to be bothersome. I expect to wear these socks for many years.
