Cute but bad cut and run small

I really liked the color and style of these pants and loved my older similar Boulder Gear ski pants so was excited to get a new pair. However, the cut of these does not work well for snow sports. I tried 3 different sizes (8, 10, 12) and none of them fit properly. My normal size is 6/8. 8 was way too small in the waist, 10 and 12 were both too tight in the thigh area to do any sort of physical activity and there was gaping at the waist that had to be fixed with the side Velcro tabs.

Great for snowshoeing!

I purchased these for a snowshoeing trip in the Canadian Rockies and they’ve been great! Flexible for easy movement. Perfectly warm with a base layer, no need for rain pants. Also the built in gaiters are a bonus. The fit is good and they also look great.
