Do not fit around my calves- why no measurements?

The quality of these socks are great but they just don't fit around my calves. Just a general frustration with ski socks: Women's calves are supposed to be wider and sit lower on the leg than men's (generally speaking in reference to ski/snowboard boot fitting); so why do the Smartwool women's ski socks have a ""slimmer fit""? Frustrating. I have purchased the men's equivalent socks and they work a bit better for me. I wish Smartwool would include MEASUREMENTS so that we can decide if they'll fit before we buy. I even asked the help chat and they couldn't help with measurements.

Comfy sock, overall very happy!

I wear these socks around the house primarily as I like to wear cozy socks and Birkenstocks while I'm working from home. If I were wearing these for snowboarding, I believe they would be warm enough, but they are a little cooler as an everyday sock. I've had my pair for about two weeks now and the socks are holding up well. I was concerned that the material would bag out at the end of the day but I haven't experienced that with these socks yet! The overall fit is great! I'm one who doesn't like my socks to be tight and I don't like when there's an excessive amount of extra fabric near the toes and the sizing on these is *chef's kiss* perfect. I normally wear between a 7. 5 and 8. 5 in women's shoes for reference. #smartwoollove

Great quality and long lasting

I've been using Smartwool snowboard socks for a while now, and they never disappoint. The quality is top-notch—they're comfortable, warm, and durable, even after multiple uses and washes. I've noticed they retain their shape and softness, which is important when spending long days on the slopes. They keep my feet dry and cozy without being too bulky inside my boots. If you're looking for a pair of socks that will last season after season, these are definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Good Knee-high

Love the colour. Great knee high for semi casual wear. I wore with my keen mid cut leather boots on cold snowy day. My feet were toasty warm. Cushion is good and subtle. Con is the calf part of sock is tight. I'm hoping to stretch about a bit. I don't think I have big calfs but it's tight on me. Smartwool: I recommend adjusting the fit to accommodate more realistic calf sizes. That said good product, love slight pink Heather colour in cream. I hope to try on slopes soon! #SmartwoolLove

Great Socks!

I love these socks. They're super warm, and super plush to the touch. They have cushioning in all the right places. Great for snowboard boots and high rise winter boots. I have the black and white pair, and they match any outfit I wear. I found the calf band snug, but definitely more comfortable than the bands on some of the other ski/snowboard socks. Not sure if the band is slightly broader on this style or not. #SmartwoolLove

Soft but snug

These socks are very soft and warm though a little snugger in the calf when you first put them on. The good news is they don't sag and droop. Wore them around the house for the past two days and the second day was definitely easier to get them on and I didn't feel as constricted. Could be used as a snow sock or with tall casual boots. Really like them but may not be perfect for you if you have larger calves. #SmartwoolLove

My new favorite winter sock!

I plan on using this sock for Snowshoeing and XC Skiing. We haven't had any substantial snow as of yet, but we have had some cold days for me to put these socks to the test. I've worn them on trail runs, hikes and on the bike. I'm 5' 8"" and my shoe size is a woman's 10 and the socks come up just below my knee cap which is perfect. They are soft against my skin, not itchy and very warm without being a super thick sock. They also stay up on my legs during exercise, saggy socks are the worst! I purposely ran in shorts on a cold day just to really test the warmth of these socks and I wasn't disappointed. This is a definite buy again for me and a buy for others during this holiday season. This is another quality sock that fits my needs for staying out in the elements longer, which means more fun. . . . it's a win win. Good products and a great company! #SmartwoolLove. com

Cozy and Warm

I use these for cold weather adventures outside, hiking, dog-walking, sledding, etc. The looped terry knit is soft and comfortable, and the targeted cushion feels just right for active use. My only complaint is the band at the top is a bit too tight, and the socks are a tiny bit too tall. The band isn't so tight on me that it's uncomfortable, it's more that I'm aware of it. Hoping it relaxes! #SmartwoolLove

Great snowboard/ski sock

I use tall socks for skiing and running. These fit well and stay put. The targeted cushioning makes them cozy and warm. No sliding down. I've used them in ski boots but I'm sure they'd work great in snowboard boots as well. I honestly don't notice the difference in the cushioning between the ski and snowboard socks. I just go with whatever design I like better. #SmartWoolLove

Great Socks!

I absolutely love these socks. I am not a snowboarder, but I do wear these in my boots when I am horseback riding and when I'm at the Ice Rink. These socks have great cushion and are comfortable for everyday use. Being a relatively smaller person with skinny calves, I find these socks to fit great in the calves; not too tight and not too loose. #SmartWoolLove
