Love the Bass
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the sound this gives out, for its size-its awesome. I like the removable strap and/or carabiner which makes it easy to clip onto a backpack on way out the door. Has a long battery life of over 16 hours-but I've never come close to that! I do wish it came with a charging cord: fortunately I had one. Very easy to pair with bluetooth. I'm really enjoying this speaker in the kitchen and once the weather warms up outside at the Park. A must buy: just make sure you pick up a charging cord
"Little package with a LARGE PUNCH"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow!!! How do they keep doing this? I was amazingly suppressed on how well this portable speaker performed in large rooms to small confined spaces. Perfect for work, the beach, bookshelf area, or just put it in your bookbag and off you go!
Incredible Sound and Durability!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality that this speaker delivers is insane for such a compact speaker! The IPX7 waterproof rating is a huge bonus for me. I've been taking this speaker to the lake, to go dirt-biking with my friends, and it's held up to everything I've thrown at it. The powerful sound and bass fills the room, and is perfect for indoor and outdoor use. I love the peace of mind knowing that it can take a few hits and splashes without ruining the sound or functionality. 16 hours of playtime is absolutely crazy for a speaker of this size and performance. With a full charge, it can last me a whole day filled with music, and it still has plenty of battery life left. Also, when I want to take things up a notch, I'm able to connect to my friend's speaker using Auracast and now we have music coming from every direction. Another handy feature is the quick clip system. It allows me to strap it to my backpack or hammock when traveling, and I can even switch it out for a carabiner depending on what I'm securing it on. Ultimately, great speaker. The sound quality and value this speaker delivers is amazing.
Small but packs a punch!!
So I recently purchased the JBL Charge 6 which is awesome but also needed something more compact / portable to take away on my travels and the JBL Flip 7 is exactly what I was looking for. For it’s size the sound and deep bass it gives out is amazing. I love the removable carrying strap and carabiner that clips onto my backpack with ease. Also, the introduction of Auracast™ now used to pair multiple speakers, this works effortlessly with just a push of a button. The only downside is it didn’t come with a USB C charging cable, but luckily I found a spare. Other than that, the JBL Flip 7 doesn’t disappoint and I would highly recommend. To sum it up in one line I would say ‘small but packs a punch’. #Reviewclub Love it!
Great Sound In A Small Package
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This small speaker packs such a punch. I don't know why I'm surprised. I own a handful of JBL products, but the sound quality makes you think that you are listening to a much larger speaker. This single speaker fills my large backyard with the great sound quality, that I have come to expect. Even though we have not had summer weather, I took it to the beach, and it sounded great. I love the interchangeable clip and finger strap. I hope that they come out with a wrist strap, or a bicycle attachment, hint, hint. The Flip 7 is definitely my new favorite Bluetooth.

The JBL Flip 7 was released in April 2025. It's a portable Bluetooth speaker designed to be easy to carry around. It offers 35 watts of power, making it capable of producing a strong sound. A redesigned tweeter dome aims to deliver clearer high-frequency sounds. You can expect more precise bass and improved clarity in the mid-range. The new AI sound boost introduced with the JBL Flip 7. This is JBL's special technology that analyzes your music in real-time. It then optimizes the speaker's performance for deeper bass, louder output, and less distortion, even at high volumes. My experience of this feature is very impressive, because when I joined my extreme 4 with the flip 7 with the auracast, I felt no difference between the two speakers, sound quality, loudness exactly the same, and it is another level of sound experience. Yes, you can join any of your jbl speakers with the auracast technology. A significant upgrade is the 7-band customizable EQ, which gives you much more control over the sound compared to previous models. This can be adjusted using the JBL Portable app. Additionally, the Flip 7 supports lossless audio playback for the first time in the Flip series. This is possible when connected via a USB-C cable to a compatible source. This speaker is rugged all around, built in a strong and robust frame. It has an IP68 rating, so it is fully waterproof, dustproof, and drop safe from 1m high. Perfect for outdoor activities like beach trips, camping, or poolside use. A new feature is the PushLock system. This allows for easy swapping of carrying accessories, such as the included wrist strap or carabiner. The battery offers up to 16 hours of playtime on a single charge. It offers playtime boost, so you can extend your speaker battery time but with this feature you will lose some of the precious bass and high sounds in exchange. For connectivity, it has the Bluetooth 5.4, which provides improved connection stability and a wider range.
Super portable and packs a punch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for an easy to stow, easy to use, and easy to enjoy speaker, then you’ve found a great one. The Flip 7 is effortless to take with me on weekend trips, it takes up next to no space and pumps out a ton of sound. The interchangeable clip system means I can clip it to my backpack and hit the beach or carry it outside of the main compartments. Perfect for a group of friends hanging out and enjoying some tunes. If I’m taking a trip, the Flip 7 is certainly taking the top slot on my packing list.
Great little speaker.
I’ve got quite few JBL speakers at home. They all have their purposes. Flip 7 is great to use on outdoors if your space is limited but you want slightly better sound than from Clip 5. Sound is very good taking into account how small the speaker is. Good battery life. I like the fact that I can connect this speaker with other JBL speakers even from a different range. Managed to connect it to JBL Patrybox, Clip5 and Authentic 300 at the same time.

We appreciate your feedback on our JBL Flip 7. Please check the equalizer settings of your phone and set it to default. We also recommend trying to connect it with a different device or play audio using a different application. You may also try doing a Factory Reset. Reset may fix the issue, much in the way rebooting a computer or phone fixes many problems. And then you will have to manually re-pair again. To do this, please press play and plus buttons for more than two seconds. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.
Little Powerhouse Perfection!!

Noticeably sturdy out of the box, so was eager to connect and see what degree of volume and audio quality this thing pushed out. WOW!!! Let me tell you, after 30+ years of being a music junkie and cycling through more portable speakers than I care to admit, the JBL Flip 7 is seriously impressive. Maybe, perfect? First off, the volume on this little beast is ridiculous. I had it cranked in my bathroom while showering, and I could enjoy the volume - the highs - the mids - the lows - over the water and fan. Super CRISP at the highest volumes - bathroom, garage, kitchen, backyard, etc. Did NOT expect such quality and projection from something this size. The bass response floored me. I've always been skeptical about portable speakers actually delivering low-end that you can feel, but the Flip 7 proves me wrong. Put on some proper 90s hip-hop or Led Zep and you get that chest-thumping thump I usually only expect from larger systems. Those passive radiators on the ends aren't just for show!! Sound clarity across the spectrum is where this thing really shines. The separation between instruments is crystal clear - you can pick out individual guitar parts, vocal layers, and percussion elements that get muddied on lesser speakers. Battery life is solid too - took it camping last weekend and got through an entire day and evening of music without needing a recharge. The waterproofing came in handy when it started raining, didn't miss a beat. This thing delivers!! If you're like me and music isn't just background noise but something you actually listen to, the Flip 7 is worth every penny. Might grab another one just to pair them up for stereo sound in the workshop.
