Runs big in a size XL
I use my older ferrosi's for spring skiing and alpine hikes. My older ferrosi's were too tight around the hips in a size large (155 pounds) so I sized up to an XL and that helped, but still a little restrictive around the hips (but too long in the arms) I wear my ferrosi's with usually one layer underneath and the OR Cirque softshell pants. So I ordered this new ferrosi style in an XL and it was huge around the hips! Really surprised. But I have to return it, this time an XL was way too big. I wish OR would tell us if the fit has changed so I could've ordered a smaller size. The blue color also is a bit of a grayish blue unlike the photo, and not my favorite shade. I have to return it unfortunately.
Love the stretch!
OR sent this to me to wear and test out and it’s truly so comfy and versatile. The orange ish colour is lovely. Great for fall activities whether it’s biking, hiking, or atving.

My jacket arrived last week, and I am glad I made this purchase. I bought the blue jacket with the navy trim, and it looks sharp. The jacket has an adjustable hood which is especially nice as I am walker and occasionally get caught in inclement weather. Three zippered pockets keep all of my items secure. The stretchy Ferrosi fabric is exceptionally comfortable, and I will definitely look for it again when I purchase another jacket. The only drawback for me is the elastic around the sleeves; it is not tight enough around my wrists to shorten the length of the sleeves. I would have preferred a Velcro closure, but the sleeves are only about one-half inch longer than I need. (I’m 5’ 3 1/2” tall.) Also of note, the jacket had a strong odor when it arrived. I had to wash it before I could wear it. However, once washed, the jacket smelled fine.
Great if you’re not tall
Way too short! Love everything else about this jacket but it’s built for short people.
