Thin material. A bit big. Might keep anyway.

I love that it's 100% wool. Merino even. I'm not sure it's a beanie though; it's more of a liner. If I needed to keep my head warm, this cap wouldn't do it. It will be a good sleeping cap. It will be a decent cap underneath a helmet if it's not really cold. It will even be OK for some mild fall weather. But it's not really that warm. Sizing seems OK. It's a little big - at least the small/medium is. I'm OK with it being a little loose. If it shrinks for some reason, it probably will still fit. I'm a big fan of OR. I have two other similar hats that are warmer. They have some wool content, and they also have fleece. They both stop wind a little better. Will I keep this cap? I am not sure. Maybe. It was a good value for a wool cap, and it's never a bad idea to have a spare liner.

Great product, sizing wasn’t expected.

The hat does a great job for the winter runs and wearing it as a lighter layer at work when I’m in and out of the cold. I ordered the L/XL size because I’ve always ordered size large for hats but it felt huge! I ended up putting it in the dryer and it shrunk it down to the perfect size. I shave my head and if I had more hair to add volume to my head the hat would have fit better but again, overall great product that does its job!

I ordered it based off the size of another beanie I had purchased from Outdoor Research but I found this one to be much larger than that, it's it fairly thin but comfortable and relatively warm

I'm bald... this helps!

The light weight nature is perfect for spring or wearing under a helmet. The beanie is soooo soft. This is my go to hat right now.

Nice and tight...

Thin material for just around the city... Not overly thick but perfect to keep the air off my ears and a add a layer of warmth..
