Like ridin' on rails...
Having already experienced the other two radial tire models from Schwalbe Albert, Magic Mary) for the past year I thought I knew what to expect when it came to traction. However, having now installed the Shredda's both front and rear, I've noticed a great step up in grip. The front knobs are probably the tallest that I've seen on any MTB tire ever. With the wide spacing between the knobbies you in the sticky clay of NORCAL flings off easily. But with all that extra grip traction there is a bit more resistance as the tread compound is extremely soft except for those massive side knobs. I have noticed the battery of my eMTB rinses out a little sooner. That's a fair trade-off considering the supreme traction, braking power and control this aggressive winter tire provides. It's like you are riding on rails.
