YETI  Ranchero Pack - 27 L

Amazing Quality Bag. Looks sturdiness. I use daily for work. I pack a lot os stuff inside and it’s heavy but suck a good versatile and handy bag. I have received many compliments about the bag and the look and workmanship. I love the way my 26 ounce Yeti bottles fit so snug in the stretchable strap area that totally secures the bottle from top to bottom. The compartments and sturdy zippers are awesome I do believe that this will probably be the last backpack I purchase for many many years !!!!!

If you’ve been looking everywhere for the perfect bag, stop. Buy this one. Not only is it super durable and the color is beautiful, it’s all around just a great bag. Zippers are in the correct spot and even has a nice spot in the back for my laptop to take back-and-forth to work. So it could be used for travel, hiking, or as your everyday bag.

I absolutely love the style of the bag. Only thing I have an issue with is how narrow it is. I have two of 35L Croosroads bags. And coming from that to a 27L you can tell the difference. I travel for work so my bag is always packed out. Other than that I absolutely love the bag. Built like everything else Yeti makes tough and durable! Big FAN….

I've been using the 27L Ranchero as a commuter bag for almost a year. I love it. It fits 2 computers in my 15" MacBook Pro and a Think Pad in the laptop compartment. I pull it on a trolley for my commute, and it is nice that it has the rigid bottom so it fits perfectly on the cart, and also sits up on it (no slouching) and I can keep it beside me during the day at my desk (hoteling, so I don't keep things in the desk). I use one side pocket to hold my phones and the other for my 18oz bottle. Inside I have the one liter snack box, plus whatever else I need to bring that day (extra jacket, umbrella, etc.). I can't imagine going back to life without it - commuter life, anyway. I switched the strap-mounted Molle Zinger bottle opener for a house key, so no digging around for that at the end of the day. I also have added fobs (mini clip on LL Bean totes) for a little extra storage/easy access to first aid supplies. I am getting ready to replace it with a darker color (loving that Stag Red), the light purple color (discontinued) gets pretty dirty during its commute on the city sidewalk (down on the cart).

I’m very happy with my purchase of the 27L Ranchero. It’s sturdy with lots of room but my favorite thing is it stands on it’s own.

Overall great bag but the shoulder straps just slides off your shoulder so annoying. You have to wear both straps at all times.

I have only used it a few times but I find the bag very comfortable and sits high enough on my back even when fully loaded that it does not dig into my lower bag as some have stated. I think this bag will work for some people and not others. My wife has a very small torso and the bag was not comfortable for her. I love the quality and the look of the bag. Most importantly I love the tri-zip. I am hooked. It is so easy to get what I need out of the bag and not have to dig. I have been using this with packing cubes and a small camera cube. Its been nice to open the bag like a duffel bag to pull out my camera gear or to leave the bag standing and opening the top compartment to get a jacket or small items stacked on top.

Uncomfortable to carry all day. The back panel of the backpack is very rigid and lacks proper cushioning, making it quite uncomfortable when carrying it for extended periods. It puts a lot of pressure on your back, which can be tiring and even painful after a while. I would not recommend it if you plan to carry the suitcase for long distances

Purchased the newly dropped Ranchero 27L to use for my vacation to Wyoming. I really haven’t had a backpack in years but wanted something that was not only versatile for the flight and carry-on needs, but also for skiing and snowmobiling trip. Loved the look and comfortable feel carrying many of my essentials including 2 15” laptops.

Bought the 27L Ranchero 2-3 months ago and I've had plenty of time to get acclimated to it before reviewing it. I love it to pieces and would've given it 5 stars but for a few reasons...My only gripe is that the TuffSkin fabric is like denim; hard to break in, but with heaps of use it's slowly starting to give. However, that's also a "gift" about it but for it's amazing quality..and with such stiffness, the bag stands sturdy by itself, but then that also makes the bag poke out a lot and feel too big as an EDC. Even still though, the whole reason i purchased this bag was for the RipZip opening that allows me to quickly access contens inside the bag and it's a serious game changer with its convenience. I bought it in two different color ways, but the Cherry Blossom is hands down my favorite as I appreciate the lighter grey finish, especially on the back padding as well as shoulder straps. If you're iso a dope bag, take a chance on it--it will seriously change the way you #backpack whether you're using it for an EDC or as travel.
