I have a pair of Danner Mountain 600 boots that I love but they don't come in black, so I decided to try these as an alternative for daily wear. They are extremely comfortable but do require a break-in period because the leather is stiff. They also squeak, not the soles, the leather tongue rubbing against the leather shoe. I was able to minimize the squeak by by using leather conditioner/mink oil on them. It helped for a while and then they started to squeak again. I'm hoping that is. I'm hoping as they become more broken in the squeak stops. I will update the review in a few months.

I absolutely LOVE these. They fit my feet perfectly. Worn casually so far and really happy with them. Can’t wait to hit the trail once the snow comes off!
