Yes , I recommend this product
My wife and I have a weight difference of about 30-35lbs which can lead to her getting smashed into the wall on big falls. The Omega is an easy to use solution to this issue. As a leader it is very smooth to pull rope through, and as a belayer my wife appreciates not being pulled into the first draw when I whip.

Great device - versatile, well-designed!
Yes , I recommend this product
This is a great device for climbing teams with different weights! The adjustability (10, 20, or 30kg compensation) make it very versatile, and 3 of us have already used it in my gym in two days. Small, lighter than the Ohm, softer catch than the Ohm, and less likely to short your climber! There are only two things I don’t love about it. First, it is a little difficult to pivot open sometimes… like there is a small lip on the mechanism that it hangs on. But that’s a very small quibble. Second, why is it so difficult to find in stock?!? I have been watching, bought mine the first evening it was available in the past year or so, and by the next morning they were gone again.

Do not pre-order with REI
I pre-ordered this product with REI thinking that I will receive it, and my order was cancelled. Why do you have pre-order if you end up cancelling the order? This is the second time this has occurred with REI. Do not pre-order with REI, just buy directly from the company who makes the product.
