I really enjoyed these shoes but I only wear them at work, I’m a nurse. I have only owned them for 3 months and several pieces of the outsole of detached themselves from the midsole. Comfortable but not very durable
I had the Clifton 6 and fit perfectly my feet but unfortunately is time to replaced them. I got the Clifton 9 thinking it would be the same shoe, but I was wrong the toe box is too wide compared with the Clifton 6. I tried the 11B instead of 11D and now the 11 B is too narrow. I don't know why they change the size from regular 11 to 11 D very disappointing!
I’ve owned every type of shoe and Hoka makes a pretty good dang shoe. Very comfortable. I just don’t like the way the tongue is always shifting inwards, I find myself constantly adjusting it. Other than that a great shoe.
Quality shoes, comfortable for all day standing and for workouts.
These shoes are like walking on air. Lots of support literally, just what the doctor ordered. Actually I do have bad feet and my podiatrist recommended these. I don’t normally buy expensive sneakers , look for something on sale. These shoes feel as if they’re worth every penny. Don’t have too many miles on them yet so I’ll have to update my comment later if they don’t hold up well.
Quality shoes. This is my first pair of dedicated running shoes so I don't have anything to compare it to, but so far they've been good for me. Ran with them through heavy rain and buddy trails. Dries nicely and everything washes off nicely for me to take them out the next day. Good cushioning, since I've been using them my knee and ankle pains have faded.
I used these shoes for walking. I normally get over 400 miles in a pair of Hokas . Around 100 miles I could tell they were wearing out. Tried to return them, REI said nope call the manufacturer, Hoka says return them to the store. Tried to file a claim. The Hoka site isn’t set up to take large files so I just gave up Don’t recommend the Clifton.
I may have been expecting a bit too much after having listened to my friends, family and others who have purchased similar Hoka shoes. Actually, my New Balance fresh foam shoes are a bit more comfortable than the Hokas. It feels as though I try to pronate when I wear the Hokas.
I disliked a 2017 pair of Hokas but decided to try the Cliftons in 2E. They are fantastic for my long-distance needs. Excellent cushion and support without feeling like my 2017 snowshoes or some of the current max cushion shoes! Will be buying again.
I usually buy the Hoka Bondi, but this Clifton 9 was on a nice sale, so I jumped on it. So far, I can't tell any difference between my Bondi 8 and this Clifton 9. Both are super cushy, light, and supportive. I continue to be very happy with Hoka.
