- While most super shoes are engineered for a race day, the 005 is engineered for race days—plural
- Open mesh bio-Dyneema® and recycled uppers are strong and featherlight; the open weave pattern allows for maximum breathability and rapid water drainage
- Bio-circular Dyneema® is bluesign® and ISCC approved
- Entirely pure Arnitel® 100% TPEE midsoles allow the 005 to be incredibly lightweight and responsive, while remaining highly durable
- Heel collars are designed with pods for increased foot lockdown, comfort and reduced debris entry
- Perforated microsuede tongues mold to the feet and allow heat vapor to escape quickly during high intensity
- norda fit-lock system secures the feet at the heels and midfoot, while allowing the toes freedom to move
- Laces have a new 4 mm height (from 5 mm on previous model) to reduce weight
- Laces are made with a diamond design pattern with bio-Dyneema® and recycled polyester, providing higher abrasion resistance and 4x the strength of standard laces
- Outsoles are made with norda full-length 1-piece sole plates
- Outsoles feature the first release of Vibram® Megagrip Elite rubber, the grippiest and lightest formulation created thus far by Vibram®
- The increased grip allows for varying lug heights, transitioning easily from technical trails to fire roads

- Stand on a piece of paper lengthwise. While in a standing position, mark horizontal lines where the tip of your longest toe lands as well as where the end of your heel is.
- Measure the heel-to-toe distance to find your foot length.
