Mismarked Size
I ordered size 11.5 from the outlet. Its size all the other boots i have ordered are, and they have all fit. With these, my big toe was more than an inch behind the proper fit, and my heel easily slid around with no effort. I double checked, yup, marked "11.5". The Austin store said they don't stock them, so i couldn't try another pair, and quickly issued a refund. The employee joked i had ordered snowshoes, they were so big, and i just needed to wear 6 pairs of socks. :) So, just don't trust the factory sizing. The employees were great.
Not wide enough to wear.
The boots are not wide enough for my feet. My big toe is up against the side of the comp toe part and it hurts to walk in. There used to be a spacer insole that one could remove to have more space and there was not in this one. I would return them but my time is more valuable to me then to figure it out and pay shipping. This is why I gave a two star review. I only buy bogs because they are usually the only boots wide enough with a comp toe that fit my feet.

Not impressed
Quality of construction is below average for MSRP of $150. Boot soles are stiff and footbed is hard and needs cushioning. Hard edge of crush resistant toe is very evident. Even at the sale price of $67.73 this isn't worth keeping and adding adjustments like insoles and padding. If you're ordering anyway, size runs a bit small.
Surprisingly not as advertised
This is my 2nd purchase of Bogs boots. I love my insulated waterproof boots that I purchased over a year ago. They have a comfortable sole, very good insulation and are waterproof. The Shale mid comps however are not waterproof and added foot cushions to make them wearable.

They won't keep your feet dry.
They are lightweight and durable but they are definitely NOT waterproof. Bought them one of my landscape crew members and he was quite happy with them until his socks got wet while working in wet soil. Maybe water resistant, not waterproof. Disappointed
comfortable and very durable
These boots are very lightweight and comfortable as I wear them daily to work. They keep my feet dry which is very important to me. I can tell from the quality they are going to be a very durable boot. They fit great and i found them to be true to size.
