I’ve put about 300 miles on the ADV 2.1 over the past few weeks across a mix of pavement and gravel, and overall I’ve been really impressed. It’s a super versatile bike that feels right at home on everything from smooth roads to rail trails and light gravel. The ride quality is solid—comfortable without feeling sluggish, and stable enough that I don’t think twice about taking it onto rougher sections. It climbs well and handles predictably, which has made it easy to just get out and ride without overthinking gear or terrain. A couple of minor callouts: I wish it came set up tubeless out of the box. The rims are ready, so it feels like a missed opportunity not to include tubeless tires from the start. On the top end, the gearing feels a bit limiting. On steeper downhills, I find myself spinning out sooner than I’d like. Neither of those are dealbreakers, and both are fixable depending on how much you want to tweak the setup. Overall, this is a great all-around bike—especially if you’re looking for something that can handle road + gravel without needing multiple bikes. It’s been a really fun ride so far and I’d recommend it without hesitation.
