This bag isn't terrible but I just wasn't satisfied sufficiently, especially for >$100. Here are my issues/complaints with this bag (in no particular order) - I hope they help! 1. The bite valve would sometimes spurt water when I opened it up. Perhaps this is user error? But the end result was getting water down my shirt, which was not the best. The bite valve also picked up debris very easily, so I was constantly cleaning it off. 2. The way the reservoir is held inside the bag is via a couple velcro straps that go through holes in the top of the plastic reservoir. After just ONE full fill (3L) the holes started stretching out - I worry about them giving out completely after only a few uses. While this doesn't mean the reservoir itself would fail, it wold be annoying to have it slump down inside the bag. 3. The pockets on the side of the bag are perfect for a smart phone, but I couldn't get even a small water bottle in there. Maybe not an issue with a 3L reservoir, but it's always good to have that extra option I think. 4. While not technically a fault, the cinch straps on the side of the bag could be a much better design - the do this sort of Z on the side of the bag, which makes an already narrowish bag even narrower. I would much prefer to have the cinch straps go across the bag, so that I could actually strap n extra jacket or something on the outside of the bag. Just a missed opportunity, in my opinion. 5. Additionally, not a fault of the bag, but petite buyers beware - I couldn't get this bag to fit comfortably. I'm female 5'2, ~110 lb, and the straps did not adjust comfortably over my body, especially across my shoulders and chest. Nothing wrong with the straps, I simply could not get comfortable with it.
