Not 100% Sure About the Waterproofness

Still on the fence about this rain jacket. I rode in a steady rainstorm for about an hour, and the jacket started “wetting out”. Since the route was fairly flat, I wasn’t working so hard as to workup too much of a sweat, so my thinking is the rain was getting through the fabric. I washed and dried the jacket according to the directions on the tag, we’ll see if that helps reactivate the waterproofness.
