Limited Usablity
Great looking, but lack of breathability makes it too warm for what I was looking for - an all-purpose shell windbreaker with some rain repellency. Uncomfortable above 50 degrees, lower if active (like hiking) or in the sun, probably not warm enough below 35-40. Haven't tried it in the rain yet. But for now it will be a niche option for me because of its limited comfort range.
Windshear Jacket is a winner
I took a chance on this, wanting a thin jacket to roll up in my pack just in case. I wanted wind- and water-resistance (not proof). I couldn't improve on this jacket: it has a hood, pockets, and even a cloth liner that feels good on bare skin.
Heavy & Poor Breathability
A decent jacket for the reduced price but heavy if travelling and does not breathe, ruling it out for backpacking. The lining is substaintial but is not 'bonded' to shell which is akward. All unfortunate as the sleeves are short which fit my XL torso perfectly.
Good If It’s On Sale
I just got this on sale for about 60% off. For that price I like it. If I had paid full price I would not like it as much. Being in Texas where we don’t really have a winter this jacket will be fine and I’ll get my moneys worth. It looks good but the comfort is where it loses stars for me. The liner is too loose and therefore makes the jacket fee kind of baggy.
Outstanding!
Finally found the perfect all around jacket for that intermediate weather. Perfect chest pockets, outer and inner, just what I needed for phone and wallet
Not a lightweight shell windbreaker
I wanted a shell windbreaker. The description of this as a windbreaker fooled me as it is lined.
Windshear Jacket
A little snug but I will use it as a layer jacket
This is a very nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice jacket. Nicer than I was expecting it to be, actually. It fits perfectly, so I would say it’s true to Size. The zippers work well, and it blocks winds nicely as well. I appreciate the zippers on the pockets so I don’t have to worry about things falling out of them like my phone or wallet. The material this jacket is made out of seems like high-quality and I would actually expect this to cost more than it actually does. Very impressed.
Great lightweight spring/fall piece
This is a great spring/fall jacket where you want to keep the wind out and mix in a little warmth. It’s light, packable, and fits just right. I’m 6’0” @ 200lbs and didn’t have any issues in the shoulders, chest, or length of the sleeves. Pockets work well. Overall, this is a great quality piece of kit I’ll definitely be stowing for trips.
Awesome rain jacket. I am
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome rain jacket. I am a small so tend to have trouble finding stuff that fits correctly and not too baggy. This fit very comfortable. Arrived just in time for a weekend baseball tournament in the rain. Nice thin lining but not too hot to wear in the spring/summer. (Free item received for an honest review)
