Great shorts in every way, except they smell of some kind of chemical (which may be formaldehyde according to internet) horribly!!! I could smell it before I even opened the box, so I washed them and packed them for a trip, but it made my whole suitcase and all the clothes that were touching them smell!! I looked online and saw people soaked them in baking soda and warm water for eight hours then washed again, which I did, and they still smelled. I’ve washed them four times now and I can still smell them in my closet before I even get close to where they are. I would love to wear them, but I am scared the chemicals are harmful. Something that smells. so strong and would last through that many soakings and washings can’t be good for you.

These are amazing shorts, they are so comfortable I wish I could have gotten a pair in another color. I got a large, I’m 5’5” and weight 168 they fit perfect. I definitely recommend for a nice shorts that’s looks and feels amazing

These shorts are nice looking but the side cargo pockets are a bit awkward if you put something in them. They are on your hips and anything bulky or stiff would hinder walking comfortably. Not a problem if you don’t need pockets but the issue I have is the odor! These shorts stink! It is a dull chemical type odor and does not seem to be going away. I have put them outside in the sun to air out and I have washed them to no avail. I would return them but have missed the return deadline.

I agree with another reviewer these shorts (black), terrible smell. After the first wash thought there was a dead mouse was in my laundry room until I figured out it was the shorts hanging to dry. I soaked them in vinegar and baking soda at least 5x’s, followed by a machine wash and dry in the sun, No luck, returned to the store where the employee almost passed out when I took them out of the ziplock bag!! Too bad they did fit great……wonder if it’s just the black color???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The styling, length, and light blue color is adorable, but it is ruined by this fabric. It feels like a strange swim suit cover, or water sports short, and not something you could or should wear as a regular short. It also runs really small. I ordered my normal medium, and probably needed an XXL to get the fit on the model, which I really liked!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these! It’s true the style can be worn from riding or hiking the trail to dining out in the town. The elastic waistband makes them so comfortable and the fabric is very breathable and weather resistant. The pocket is big enough to hold my cell phon and I love that they close securely with zippers. I bought at least two pairs of these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great shorts, stretchy and comfortable. I bought the terracotta, and it's more pink than orange, but it is still very pretty. I have a 29in waist and 42in hips, and the medium fits really well.
