Not functional
Use: 8 mile trail run Pros: moisture wicking Cons: the front pockets are not deep enough to keep gear in place, not to prevent gear from falling out. My car keys and both of my 500 ml soft water flasks we're ejected out of their pockets at different times during the run. My phone bounced around in the rear pocket the entire run at great annoyance. Even at the sale price, this product is not worth the hassle.
Great for hands free running
The vest fits well. It doesn't chafe or rub in any places. However, as some people have mentioned, the pockets are not very good. There are three sets of pockets. The first, high up pair of pockets holds a soft water flask easily. The second pair of smaller pockets along the chest have wide openings. My keys and other small items fall out regularly. They should have designed it with either zippers, snaps, or other ways to keep the opening closed. They do have a zippered pocket on the back of the vest near the neck opening. However this placement is inconvenient when you need to access items quickly and easily. The third pair of pockets along the flanks has an elastic to hold soft items like gloves, sweat towel, etc.
Works well for supported runs
I've been using this for about 2 years now. The front check pockets hold 600ml soft flask, which sticks out of the top a little (there is a cord to secure the cap). There is a second set of pockets there that will hold gloves or whatever else you may need. Side/flank pockets will hold several gels. The rear pocket is fairly big, can hold a spare jacket. The zipper pocket is good for keys and ID/cards. Works well, but may be a bit small for unsupported runs over 20 miles.
Favorite vest!
I love this vest! I had a Solomon before and didn’t love it so I’m glad I found this one! So much storage and light weight. I like that you can tighten it to fit your body shape
Best Race Pack
If you’re looking for a race pack this is the one. I love it it holds more than enough to get you to aid stations spaced within 13,miles. You don’t know it’s on your back.
Not worth it
Too small for a long, unsupported run. Pockets are too small for a bottle.
