Finisterre  Nimbus Insulated Jacket - Men's

I had a feeling the jacket might be too small even at XL. The jacket is made in UK and British sizes def run smaller which is why I think the jacket might have been on discount. There is a XXL but REI doesn't carry it. I'm not sure the buyers knew that and didn't order the full compliment of sizes. It's short on me and I am 6' 2". I would def wear this jacket as I love the fit and feel of it and it was a good deal when I ordered it. One thing that is also British is the zipper is on the left side so rather than grab with your right to bring it up, you have to use your left hand which takes some getting used to.

It’s warm without being bulky, comfortable to wear all day, and handles cool, damp weather surprisingly well. The fit is on point. The look is great, sharp enough for work but relaxed enough for everyday use, whether you’re out for a walk or just running errands. I also like how lightweight and packable it is. Overall, it feels well-made, practical, and thoughtfully designed, especially if you care about sustainability as much as performance. As always, Finisterre has nailed it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually bought as a potential light autumn or spring coat but am wearing it in the dead of winter. It's a great fit and really quite warm, particularly good if going for a brisk walk where a larger coat might be too warm. I did this at 3 degrees C today with wind and light rain and was perfectly comfortable. It's water resistant enough for this type of weather also. Reasonable sized pockets plus a fairly big left breast inside pocket. I like this shade of green also. It appears very well made, quality stitching. Yep, loving it so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall really pleased with the coat. Would be even better with another pocket on the inside. Pockets that are there (outside) are fleece lined which is amazing. Note that the colour is slightly off black.
