Thin, Warm, and Waterproof Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using my Shield Hybrid Jacket 3.0! This jacket has zippers on the side pockets so I’m not worried about my phone falling out while I’m walking or running. I love the colors and materials used to make this jacket. It’s comfortable and thin, but still keeps me warm. The long cuffs on the sleeves and the high collar help keep the cold air away from my hands and neck. I love that this jacket is also waterproof so that I’m protected when it rains. There are details like buttons that close the front of the jacket and hidden pockets that make this jacket better than others. I'm looking forward to wearing it often as I exercise in the cold weather.
The Perfect Cold Weather Running Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first thought upon seeing/feeling this jacket was that it’s great quality. The material is both very soft and durable. The lightweight design is enough to keep you warm without weighing you down. I liked that the jacket had a stretchy back for breathability and a quilted front for warmth. Some of my other favorite features included the thumb holes, a velvety inner neckline (great for preventing irritation when jogging) and the loop on the back of the jacket for hanging it up. I enjoy a more boxy fit, and the XL fits great. This jacket is great for everyday casual wear, to training in cool weather conditions. I wouldn’t change anything about this jacket, I love it!
Lightweight and warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a lightweight running jacket to protect you from the elements, the Brooks Shield Hybrid 3.0 is the way to go! The jacket fits true to size and feels as good as it looks! For a functional piece of clothing, I think it is incredibly stylish and I absolutely love the teal color. The inside of the jacket is soft as butter, and the outside shell is also soft but protective. My favorite feature are the thumb holes which will close any gaps and keep you warm and cozy. The pockets are roomy for anything you need to have on hand while you’re out. I have several running jackets already, but this one is certainly my favorite. I have already highly recommended to several of my friends, even to those who don’t run outside!
My new go-to light jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I unpacked this I could feel the quality of the jacket! The material itself is soft and comfortable while also having some structure and protection for the outside elements. It’s been too hot to wear it outside on my runs and walks lately but it definitely will be my go to this fall and winter. The fit is great, I got a medium- I am 5’11” and 178 lbs for reference. However, I wish I would’ve gotten a different color- the blue is a bit bold for my personal taste. Would highly recommended and can’t wait to use it more!
Great Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has this jacket, and he loves it! It's a great light blue teal color, which is different from others he has, and makes him more visible when outside. The design is simple, which makes it more versatile in his wardrobe. It fits him perfectly and is super comfortable. Also, the fabric is really nice. The material on the sides and back has more stretch, which makes it more comfortable when walking or running outside because it kind of moves with you. Zippered pockets are always a must for running, so that is also a plus. Overall this is a great jacket and he will get a lot more use out of it as it gets cooler outside.
Great Jacket for Cooler Months
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks Shield Hybrid Jacket 3.0 is such a great quality item. I love that it has pockets (two zipper hand pockets and 2 DEEP internal pockets). I also love that it has thumb holes to give a bit more warmth for hands. The fabric is so soft, stretchy and comfortable. My only complaint is I wish it was more like a vest, with extra warmth on both the front and back. As it is, the front has a quilted thickness (the teal portion) and the darker blue is a thinner, almost scuba feeling material. This is great when it's cool or for hard core runners, but for me as a recreational runner, I'd prefer a little more warmth for colder months (live in CO, so it's pretty cold but generally sunny). Overall, it's a great jacket, very nicely made and should last a long time.
Quality Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being in the chilly state of Idaho, it's essential to have warmth when outdoors. We do a lot of active outdoor walking / jogging and hiking. This jacket has been phenomenal for outdoor use. The fabric is so light, but unexpectedly warm and blocks a lot of wind. It fits really well and is true to size. The design is really nice, my favorite part being the thumb holes at the end of the sleeves. I love the athletic, sleek look of this jacket and love how functional it is without being bulky while doing physical activity.
Light & Cozy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Brooks Shield Hybrid Jacket 3.0, and I’ve got to say, I’m really impressed! First off, the jacket is super lightweight, which I love because it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when I'm out and about. Despite being light, it still manages to keep me cozy, which is perfect for those crisp fall days that are just around the corner. One thing I noticed right away is that the sleeves are a bit on the long side, but honestly, that’s a bonus for me. I like having a little extra coverage, especially when I’m out walking my dogs on the trails in my neighborhood. The extra length keeps my hands warm without needing gloves. To Note: I am a 5'7 woman around 200 lbs. :) Even though the weather hasn’t cooled down enough for me to wear it often just yet, I can already tell this is going to be my go-to jacket from late September through November. It’s exactly what I need for those chilly morning walks. Highly recommend it!
Shield Hybrid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice and lightweight design, but keeps me warm. Very sleek and light, I don't feel bulky or like I have too much weight on me when I go for a run. The fall weather has been windy and cool, perfect jacket to use on my runs. Fabric is soft and comfortable. I like the color combination of different tones of blues.
Fits Well, Color Just Okay
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket fits really well and seems like it would do a good job of keeping you warm but also comfortable for outdoor activities. I'm not that into the color/style - I'd like something sleeker and more subtle. It's very comfortable though - allows plenty of movement (arms easily over head, etc.).
