The perfect vest?

This is my holy grail piece. It is very light, warm, and down-free (I’m very allergic to down). The aesthetic is classic and flattering, and the snaps are sturdy but also add a nice detail to the front. Great for colder weather hiking and as a layer for snowshoeing. It is also classic that I have been able to mix it into my dressier/work wardrobe. I was so happy to see REI carrying Finisterre. It is one of my favorite companies that focuses on durable, low impact clothes with a classic look and technical details. I’ve only been able to reliably find them when I travelled to England so having a retailer here in the US is amazing!

Beautiful

I almost returned this thinking I wouldn’t need it but I now wear on the regular over a cashmere thermal top and with the Finisterre merino wool leggings, which I also recommend. I am a 10/12 and the 10 is perfect with plenty of room for chunky jumper.

Collar and colour avoid it being ‘tech bro’

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this so much. Was worried I’d look like an extra in Succession, but the collar makes it really chic and it’s lightweight but so warm. Love the colour. Great for layering. Gets lots of compliments especially when paired with jeans and a flappy shirt.

Perfect gilet
