RAINPROOF TESTED!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally had a chance to test out my great new Finisterre jacket in today's unseasonably cold and wet weather. As well as keeping me dry it has a great windproof, chill factor too! Handsdown beats my last two supposed to be rainproof jackets!! Now ready for North Wales Pilgrims Way and whatever wetness that throws my way - also love the Seagreen colour.

Fantastic jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been eyeing this one for some time and finally had the perfect excuse to get it for my trip to Tibet. Fantastic jacket, performed really well in the rainy and wintery conditions!I am a UK 12, but purchased a UK 14 to be able to wear over layers, but even without them it has a great slightly oversized look. Thanks, Finisterre!

An elegant solution to a rainy problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this jacket. It's a great cut, with an empire line vibe (good for busty ladies), fab 2-way zip (one of humanity's greatest inventions) lots of pockets, super dry in wet conditions (I went out without an umbrella in heavy rain to test it), good sized hood to cover your hairdo. The colour, Deep Sea green, is a miracle. It literally goes with everything. An expensive purchase but it works. I would say that it comes in on the large size. The 14 in the shop swamped me and the 12 had room to spare for jumpers / fleeces etc even though I am usually a 14 on top 12 on the bottom.

Great jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with my Stormbird jacket. It keeps the wind and rain out, is roomy enough for a warm layer underneath yet fits well and looks good. It’s yet to be tested in really heavy rain but I’ve every reason to expect it’ll do a good job! Bought at the Holt store with lovely assistance.

Great investment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Treated myself to this new jacket ahead of a week on the Isle of Mull. It’s been perfect for the trip, keeping me warm and dry despite the best efforts of Storm Dave. Really nice fit, comfy, and great pocket placement, I couldn’t be more impressed!

Amazing jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket specifically for hiking, however my 1st use out of it was as a shell jacket for skiing! It worked perfectly with all my layers!!! The pockets are great they are so big that I could fit so much in and even found that if the zips were accidentally left open nothing seemed to fall out. Also my ski pass fit perfectly in the small outer pocket!! One thing I really struggled with when buying this jacket was what colour!! Finisterre colour range is the best, I want every colour!!! I picked deep sea as I felt it was a classic! It was above my budget in regards to a waterproof jacket, however i think it’s worth it! Due to functionality and how it looks! Maybe il try and save up for another colour!

Not 5 star worthy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a new properly waterproof coat and saw the reviews of this one. Looked really good and has great green credentials. I’ve now worn it a few times in the pouring rain. Mostly I like it. However....The sleeves could be longer. I’m a fairly average person, but the sleeves aren’t long enough for me to fully pull my hands up into the sleeve when it’s chucking it down. Also the hood doesn’t have a very big peak and it sits right back, not offering a huge amount of protection to my face. But it is waterproof. Just not sure I’d wear on a really wet hillside
