So black it’s blue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely short and the usual excellent quality from Finisterre. The only thing is, the website said it was black, the label said it was black, but when I put it on, I swear it’s dark blue. I’ve canvassed quite a few people whilst wearing it, and they all say the same. It’s dark blue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt is described as black but in the store I couldn’t decide if it was the described colour or a dark blue. In certain lights it appears the latter but in others the black. I really like it and I’m considering buying another. It is a great fit - I usually buy large but the medium is just right and looks fitted. Material is robust but not restrictive.
A fine heavy shirt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No surprise that this black gully shirt should feel as good to wear as my other two in previous colour schemes. I love them. It is comfortable and warm and exactly right as a midway kind of layer over a T-shirt for the autumn. This black coloured one has had some positive comment from my friends too.
Such a perfect shirt!
Lovely fit and feel! This was a gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it. Perfect fit and a shirt he can wear out working or out for dinner so it's a win win ;). He is a size Small in Finisterre sweaters but a Medium in Finisterre shirts - largely due to the upper arm and shoulder fit.

It’s one of the most comfortable, beautifully crafted shirts I’ve had in a long time. The fit is excellent and it’s rapidly becoming my favourite shirt, it can be dressed up or be totally relaxed. A great buy.
Fragile buttons
Pricey shirt. I liked the fabric, weight, fit, and feel … but 2 of the buttons already broke after only 2 months. Laundered maybe 3 times per instructions. The one reserve/replacement button on the inside tab, also broken. Durability … none. Sorry REI, going to return it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brought this for my husband, he has the same shirt in about 3 colours now, some of them he has had for ages and they are still going strong, they are very well made and fit really nicely (he’s 6ft 5 and likes the x-large for a loose’ish fit) highly recommended!
Fantastic Quality Shirt

The size was a tad too large for me, so I had to drop down a size. Other than that, it is a top quality shirt. The transaction and the delivery was fine also.
