I took it out on the slopes and used it as my ski backpack and it was slushy snow/rain and it handled amazingly with no water getting in and the water that did get in because of me drained perfectly out the bottom through a special hole. And afterwards when it was time to head back to my car it held my helmet perfectly.
Overall it a very solid pack, I like the split design Only downside is there isn’t a space or outlet for a water bladder
