These are beasts on steep walls and were comfortable out of box and the new rubber is way stickier than the original. Toe hooking rubber could be sticker and the laces are still fragile but are definitely improved so I’ll wager to say there will be a lot less issues with durability as far as the straps ar concerned. Over all a better shoe than the original and is a step in the right direction for evolv. I wear a street shoe 42/42.5 and I’m rocking a 41.5.
