Light weight and stretchy, but.....
I love the fit, protection from the elements, and breathability. The light weight stretch material is great for large ascents while splitboarding. The side vents help to keep me comfortable on the warm days with just a basic poly layer underneath. On cold days, a lightly insulated base-layer is all that I need. After trying a couple of sizes, I landed on a medium which is surprising(6'2 190lb, 32-34 inseam). The suspenders are maxed out but overall the fit is great and I have plenty of room to move. These bibs have thigh pockets which I find finicky due to the storm flap, which I know is needed. I would prefer waist pockets however. Sadly, a tear has developed just above my right ankle strap. I do not recall any impacts or abrasions but the material is lightweight so I am not surprised. I will repair and keep using. I still like the performance of the bibs. I might look for something different next time though.
Best Bibs ever!
Love these bibs! Lightweight and wind resistant! Used them skiing and skinning in Austria and Switzerland and the are the perfect ski combo. I can wear one layer less because of the warmth on my chest. Keep up the quality Stio!
Work well for touring
These bibs breathe really well. I was really surprised and the quality of the seamless design is so light.
