Replacement for the bag in my Neon Smart

The rope tarp that originally came with my neon smart bag finally wore out, so this is its replacement, I've taken its predecessor all over the US and used it as a rain fly on rougher days and to protect my travel bag, not necessarily all recommended uses, but it stood up for a good amount of time. Easy to shake clean and covers the ground well enough, looking forward to this one serving me similarly

Reliable and Essential Rope Tarp for Every Climber

"I've been using this rope tarp for a while now, and it has consistently exceeded expectations. It’s a simple yet essential piece of gear that works flawlessly for both carrying my climbing rope and keeping it clean during use. The material feels durable and withstands rugged surfaces, offering reliable protection against dirt and debris. The size is perfect, providing ample space to flake out the rope without tangling while still being compact enough for easy packing. The integrated handles and tie-off points make transporting and organizing the rope hassle-free, and I appreciate how lightweight and convenient it is to carry. Overall, it’s a practical and well-designed product that has become an indispensable part of my climbing kit. Whether you're at the crag or the gym, this tarp does its job without any fuss. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to keep their rope in great condition!

Great little tarp

Great little rope tarp - does everything you need it to & is super light, simple, packable and functional. By pulling on the drawstring you can turn the tarp and rope into a small ball that packs easily away and unpacks quickly. Really well designed product and one of the best rope tarp designs I have seen in a while. Inexpensive, everything you need & nothing you don't. 10/10

Does the job

This tarp is great for the job it's meant for when at the crag. Good size for flaked rope and good findable tie off points. If you're moving from one climb to the next close by, the ability to cinch down is great. Where the tarp is lacking is it's size and ability to hold coiled rope on top of the Neon bag. It's not generally big enough to hold the coil and protect it well.

Neon Rope Tarp

Nice basic tarp for the price. Has tie loops for the end of your rope. I use it in the gym for now and the drawstrings make it useful as a bag. I will use it outside next season with my outdoor rope. It water repellent and great to quickly bag up my rope when needed. Great for first or second rope bag.

Very basic

It’s nothing special. Just a tarp. I like the synch. I climbed with it at the gym and outside. No difference really between the experiences. White wasn’t the best pick in terms of dirt. Has two little spots you can tie the rope to so you don’t lose the ends as well.

Convince your rope to not have a perfect coil every time you move spots, sign me up.

This rope bag keeps everything together well and bundled the rope easily. It don't exactly sit well or carry well for long walks, approaches or even most hikes, but bundles together nicely for a gym environment and TR days at a crag. Very good bag.

Great protection

Delivered as promised. Used frequently for a year now with zero issues. I have taken it to multiple walls in Hawaii with pretty rough terrain and has held up very well.

Good lightweight tarp

Best of both worlds between a rope bag and a tarp. I love that this is lightweight and can open up wide or cinch down to fully enclose the rope.

Simple and solid gym tarp for hauling the rope around, light enough to pack in your bag to take to the crag.
