Desert backpacking must have for me!
I wore this in 95°F heat for multiple days of desert backpacking. Not once did I want to tear it off of my head so the airflow is definitely great. The way that it Velcro’s in the back kept it from being annoying by rubbing against my pack when I needed to look up. The slightly elasticized cord was comfy and held my hat on, on a very windy 11,500 ft summit in the Rockies. I had to wash the sweat salt off of it and it came out perfectly from the washing machine on delicate cycle. If it wasn’t sold out right now, I’d have bought a second one. It has taken so much abuse and still looks great and is not falling apart in any way.

Exceptional quality and well made but Brim is only 7cm not 11cm as described on web. Returned. Please update info. Would love a second iteration with wider brim for more sun protection.

Quality sunhat that covers the eyes, easily adjustable chin strap that isn’t loose, good breathability, and two way adjustability in the back. I only use the button straps but the velcro could be equally useful. The winning feature here is a hole in the back for a bun or ponytail. This consideration takes it to five stars for me. Would be nice with more colors.
