Not ideal for climbing
No, I do not recommend this product
I’ve been searching for a good pair of light, slim fit climbing pants to complement my existing pair of Women’s Fjallraven Abisko Trail Stretch Trousers which are great for shoulder seasons, but a little warm in the summer. Sadly, these pants are not a good alternative. Pros: these are super light Cons: - the waist and ankles are way too loose. There isn’t even a drawstring or the ability to use a lightweight belt to tighten it if the waist is too loose. I’m concerned of catching the loose ankles on something while climbing. Ideally, they’d be tight fitting or at least have an elastic to keep them sitting tight. - tight in the thighs and butt - the material is concerningly thin to the point where I’m confident a good snag on the baggy fabric on a rogue tree branch while hiking or a rock while climbing would end in a nasty rip.
