still searching

I picked these and 3 other pairs of gloves up yesterday, just in time for today’s snow. I wore them along with the REI Merino Wool 2.0 liner glove inside. I purchased both in medium and they fit perfectly, even with both on, I still had flexibility and comfort. I went out to shovel, it’s 28 degrees. My hands were freezing!!!! It was no better than the cheapo gloves you get from a standard retail store. I was so very disappointed!!! Can anyone suggest a glove that really keeps your hands warm?

Do NOT keep hands warm in winter weather.

I thought REI stood for quality. How can a $60 pair of gloves not keep your hands warm in 30-40 degree weather? Cheap polyester insulation. I was willing to pay for quality to get warmth. Very disappointed in REI and these gloves.

Not Warm

Evidently “Primaloft” means polyester insulation. They are Not Warm nor worth $59. It is possible to text with them and they look nice. But they’re not even warm enough to use as driving gloves.

Good Midweight glove

This is a midweight glove, which is what I was looking for. I have many light weight and heavy weight gloves. I purchased a large which fit pretty good. Surprised that I needed a large.

First REI product, disappointed

I’m disappointed with the gloves. Or $60 pair of gloves they do not keep the hands warm enough. Even in 40° weather they are only good for about 45 minutes to an hour.
