Not warm enough for cold in the mid west!

I bought these for my Tuesday hiking in Cleveland Ohio. Luckily I used them to clean the driveway with my snowblower for 30 minutes first! My fingers and hands were freezing and I had to come in. They would not survive some of my hikes in temps below 20 degrees! It was 20 degrees outside!

Mittens

My wife is prone to Raynaud's so mittens work better. She loves these - stylish (for mittens) and warm

Ok at 20 degrees…

I was looking for a lighter weight glove to use when cross-country skiing. I’ve only used them once and they worked okay on a 20 degree day. I’m not sure they would keep my 70 year old hands warm on a 5-10 degree day. I have to admit that my hands tend to run cold so they might be fine for a younger skier.
