Great shell

Perfect fit in waist and length. The color is bright and flashy and the belt is functional and comfortable

Fit review

I just purchased these pants but wanted to leave a review about the fit. I originally purchased size short M, which fit great everywhere except they were a little tight over my thighs. I sent them back and went a size up in order to accommodate thicker base layers since these pants are just shells. The short L fit great everywhere except the waist was huge. I was able to cinch them as far as they would go to fit. I think they'll work just fine. I'm excited to try them next winter.

Typical Stio Bulletproof Quality

I have a pair of these pants and my wife loved the look of them. I ordered a set for her, which unfortunately were too large for her. She subsequently reordered another pair in size medium (short). As it relates to my pair, I do love them. They are very hearty, I coach youth racing and these are a very durable outer layer for all days, especially the wetter ones. Highly recommended. For reference, they do run slightly large

Awesome pants!

I purchased a pair earlier in the season in “Smokey salmon” loved them so mush I couldn’t resist ordering another pair in black. As a ski patroller I live in black pants most of the season. I’ve discovered my uniform pants are not waterproof enough for patrol duty and several other lady patrollers have purchased Stio and love them.

Too big

Bummed. I have had 2 pairs of Environ pants in size small that I have worn out: and both fit me well. This size small was way too big in the waist and the legs. I returned and didn’t exchange because I was concerned the XS might also be too big and didn’t want to risk another return.

Great basic ski pants

I tried these pants because of the color, and they have won me over. Great weight. Simple silhouette. The two things I find fault with are the pocket (it bulks out if you put anything in it) and the sewn-on belt that makes it uncomfortable to adjust, but neither is a deal breaker.

Sturdy, flattering pants

At 5', I struggle finding pants that fit and these are great. They are roomy enough for me to wear multiple layers below. The only issue I've had is the belt is hard to buckle when you have ski layers on, but that's a minor inconvenience. So happy with this purchase!

Second pair of these pants

Second pair of these pants i own! Loved my pair last season, lost weight, so i bought again in a size down. The short length is incredibly helpful for shorter people and not a common option. (However, would love stio to make more bib options!)

Environ Pant

A bit lighter weight than I expected. It will work well for early season or spring skiing when it’s a bit wetter weather. Nice addition to my Stio gear. The only length available was Regular. I could have used the Long but it will work.

Great pants, poor fit

I ordered the Nightfall pants in medium and large with the short inseam. First of all, thank you Stio for making a snow pant that is ALMOST short enough for me - much appreciated. Love the color and the construction of the pants seems very well done, though I did not actually put them to use. I love the placement and location of vents and pockets and easy-to-use and grab zippers. I think these would be great pants, but aren’t ideal for the curvy figure as they don’t have a ton of give. I’m around 29” waist and 41” hip with very muscular thighs and maybe a 28” inseam with ski boots on. These would be much less bulky than other snow pants due to ther short length and they have great waist adjustments with a solid belt available. However for me they were a little too snug in the rear and around the hips without enough give for me to be comfortable if I switch to snowboarding. The large waist was much too large and bulky though I liked the roominess in the legs. These would be great for someone less pear-shaped and bulky than me who doesn’t need a lot of room in the legs.
