Perfect mitts
I bought these for my 6 and 8 year olds. They were a game changers. I would have to pack two pairs of gloves every time we would go skiing because their fingers would get cold. We skied three days in a row at Whitefish and I never heard a single complaint about cold fingers. These mitts paired with the 686 One-piece snow suit is the perfect set up.
Awesome for my 7 year old
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this pair and two other pair of mitts (one from burton & one from Columbia) for my 7 year old. These are the best of the 3. Great fill, fleece lined, goretex. Great build quality and warmth. Had to order these b/c his hands were freezing in his burton mitts. These solved that issue. Wish they had a place for hot hands is my only complaint. But maybe thats only for adult gloves.
Water Tight, Warm, & Snug Fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mittens are great if you like a snug fit. We have always gone with a different GORE-TEX mitten brand. This year, we prefered the fit of 686 mittens. The previous brand had a lot of play in the fingers - these 686 are tighter in a good way. So far, in/out of bindings has not required a mitten removal & cold digits. We'll see how they perform the rest of the season.
Really Nice Mitts!!!
The mitts are well constructed and warm. Sizing runs normal. Very happy with the purchase and expect these to last a while. Have not had them in wet conditions, but assume the GoreTex will do its job. These mitts are exactly what you'd expect from 686. Great quality product.
No need for hand warmers!
Got these last season for our girl in ski club. Worked so well all day 8:30-4:30, so got her the next size up for her growing hand to use this season. Also to note-she didn’t bother with hand warmers while using these
Great glove
These kept up great. 20+ Day season and still feel new. Included glove liners added versatility and the leash was a great feature.

They fit her well her hand was almost 2.5 “ across and the youth small fit.
