These are well made, comfortable and nice looking trail shoes. I would give them 5 stars, except that even with regular lacing the Tomir 2 still doesn't quite hug the mid-foot well, probably due to a more tubular construction. Also, I wish the toe protection would be a little more substantial, the way Kierag 1 has. I'd rather have a slightly heavier shoe than risk injury to my toes when I'm on a trail miles from my car. If Nnormal could address these 2 issues, for me Tomir 2 with straight lacing would be just about perfect.
Excellent grip on wet and dry rock, stable on technical terrain, and very comfortable for long hikes. Not waterproof, but it dries fast. Solid and dependable shoe.
