Merrell Got it Right
I purchased this shoe in one size up after reading the comments. Well, that was a mistake. I usually wear an 8, but I bought the 8.5. People, buy your regular size! They are comfortable, as stated by others. It's sporty without being cute. They say I am ready for anything: a quick hike, a drink, a bike ride, the farmer's market.
Super comfy!
So comfortable, lots of toe room. Great support, i could wear them all day anywhere.
Comfort and Durability on the Streets of San Fran
I bought these for a recent trip to San Francisco and couldn’t be happier. I averaged about 18,000 steps a day (yes, really!) exploring hills, parks, sidewalks, and more — and I experienced zero pain, no blisters, and no foot fatigue. These shoes felt supportive and grippy, even on steeper terrain and city stairs. I saw some mixed reviews before purchasing, but my experience has been great. They held up beautifully and kept my feet comfortable the entire trip. I’m always happy with Merrell quality, and these didn’t disappoint. Definitely a good purchase!
no padding, minimal support
The description doesn't emphasize enough that these are part of the "barefoot" line of shoes. There's absolutely no padding or cushion, and the footbed isn't really designed to accept insoles of any type. If you work on your feet or need more support, these are definitely not the shoes to get.
Great shoe, poor sizing
Merrell Women's Wrapt SHOES - I absolutely loved the look and shape of this shoe--stylish (for trave!)l, slim in the heel (like feet!), wide in the toe box (but not clownish!), low-volume (not like a potato!)--so I bought two sizes, to find the perfect fit. I don't know who Merrell thinks they are fooling by calling a ":size 41" a 10 and calling a "size 42" a 10.5. But I can tell you who they're not fooling: women who wear a 41.5. Merrell skips the half size, furstrating a lot of women and losing a lot of potential buyers, like me. Of course, the "size 41" was too small and the "size 42" was too big because...I'm a 40.5!
fantastic fit.. my first pair of barefoot shoes
Merrell with the win on this one… I’ve been looking everywhere for a nice pair of functional kicks for at work (teaching)and after work (hiking and walking my dogs). These are cute and comfy! I use pacas socks and they have a lovely complimentary fit together.
Very Slippery Soles
I bought these shoes on the Merrell website and the shoes look good and are well made. I would love them, except the Vibram soles are VERY slippery! Who would have thought! I can't wear them when the ground is wet. My Ons and Sanitas have no issues, but these are so slippery that I actually slipped on the front steps, fell and was sore for weeks. I guess I won't be buying these cute shoes again.
Toe box different from sneaker wrap shoe
I first got the wrap sneaker, okay fit, but was 2 toned colors, not what I wanted. Decided to try the wrap that has a different style ( dots). Again the color was NOT as pictured but all one color. The toe box is different has a more squareish toe than the sneaker. Fit was different, will take back.
My new favorite barefoot shoes!
So comfortable from the first moment! Love the traction of the wrapt soles. Perfect color to transition into fall!
Still undecided
I'm not sure I'm a fan of the barefoot structure of the shoe.
