I bought these because you could get a wide version. After many years of cycling I need a wider shoe to alleviate some numbness in my feet. These fit the bill. I find them very comfortable. I do like the way the boa and lacing works on these. One boa tightens evenly. The one downside I found is there is more flex in the shoe than I would like. It is not bad, but I prefer something very ridged. I would not get these if you are an aggressive rider, but if you are not mashing on the pedals all day they are OK.

replacing 20 year-old shimano rc shoes. i love the feel and fit of my new rc5s. the BOA system works great, and my fellow riders think it's pretty durable.
