Perfect compact rain jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little jacket. I've had it for a few weeks now, and it's the most convenient jacket for rain or wind. I live somewhere with unpredictable weather, and it can rain with little notice. This jacket folds up small enough to fit in my back pocket. Whether it's in my jeans pocket for casual use or being used when trail running, I take this with me way more often than I would a bulkier coat. This is NOT an overly warm jacket, but if you just need to minimize wind chill or keep the rain off, this jacket is perfect. I can't believe how light weight it is. I'd like to get one in a more neutral color for daily/casual use.

Perfect Lightweight Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Brooks Canopy Packable Jacket. It’s incredibly lightweight and breathable, yet still provides excellent protection from wind and light rain. The fit is comfortable without being bulky, and I appreciate that it doesn’t restrict my movement while running. One of my favorite features is how the hood stays in place without bouncing around, and the ventilation helps prevent overheating. Overall, this jacket has become an essential part of my gear. If you’re looking for a high-quality, packable running jacket that performs in unpredictable weather, I highly recommend it!

Great jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Canopy Packable Jacket is a lightweight, windbreaker that’s become a staple in my outdoor workout apperal. I will use it for early morning runs, in light rain, or as a backup layer on longer walks. It packs down small enough to fit in a vest or waist belt, which makes it super convenient to carry. This would be a great jacket for hiking in misty, slightly chilly weather. I was unsure at first, but the fabric is impressively durable even though it feels very thin. It does a great job cutting wind and repelling light rain without overheating, especially in these hot summer months. The ventilation on the back and underarms adds breathability, which is a big plus. What I like most is how unobtrusive it feels while wearing it—no extra loud crinkly sounds and no restriction of movement. It’s also stylish enough to wear casually. If I could change anything, I’d add a small zippered chest pocket for stashing keys or a gel—right now everything goes into the main pocket, which isn’t ideal while running. I definitely recommend this jacket if you are looking for a durable, lightweight, stylish jacket.

Light Fabric & Very Breathable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric of the Canopy Packable Jacket is very lightweight and super breathable, great for wearing it while jogging or just going to pick up groceries in the neighborhood. Seems to be great quality, long lasting durability, and waterproof from the material wise. This jacket comes in solid colors too like black, white, gray, and royal blue so you’re bound to find one that you can match your outfits to. Although the material is comfortable to wear, I don’t think I would ever pay the somewhat steep price for such a light fabric windbreaker in my opinion.

Minimalist Protection When it Counts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, the intent of this jacket is a back-up minimalist style for when a runner needs lightweight and highly packable wind and/or rain protection. I would carry this jacket for times when there might be a light sprinkle or a cool wind that you'd want protection from. I would not use this jacket for heavy rain as I believe the material will eventually allow outside moisture through. For what it is and its purpose, it's a really nice jacket, especially for long runs in the mountains when the forecast looks blue, but there's a slight chance of rain and it's not worth bringing a heavier-weight jacket. Fit is true to size (I'm 5'10", 170 lbs, athletic-runner build with moderate upper-body strength, and the medium is a perfect fit). Good workmanship too. If I had to change one thing in the name of minimalism would be this: remove the abdomen hand pockets... I don't know any runners who use these in real life (other than maybe standing around before a race to keep warm).
