[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight but very warm. Thermal pads inside keep this thing toasty.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best jackets I've ever purchased. The fit is fantastic, and the slight elastic stretch around the waist and under the arms is absolutely perfect for wearing comfortable when zipped. This feature alone makes the jacket preferrable over similar styles from other brands in my opinion. The jacket also provides great warmth for its weight. The fit is true to size for Columbia's other jackets including fleece. I'm 5'9", 160lbs, and the medium fits like a dream.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really pleased with the comfort, fit and look of this mid-weight jacket. It is super lightweight, but provides a medium level of warmth, which is exactly what I was looking for. It can be used on it's own as a mid-weight cool-cold jacket, or as an inner layer with a shell to provide greater wind break and weather protection for colder days. It is not a parka, so buy it for the right reason and the right level of warmth and comfort you are seeking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought a grey Columbia jacket several years ago and loved it to pieces! He loved the shape, he loved the fit, he loved the color. And he wore it to death. I started trying to replace it a couple of years ago, and all I got was too big, too small, too puffy, icky color, too blue, too brown, too boxy, droopy shoulders, and he HATES hoods. Well, this jacket is none of that. It's like the first. Please don't stop making. Thank you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits like a glove. But is a very light jacket, and implying it is warm enough for "Powder," is deceptive. It's listed as WARMTH LEVEL: Medium Warmth; CLIMATE Best for blustery, brisk winter weather. This is a joke. Maybe for mid 40's. (I tend to be pretty cold tolerant and wear lighter jackets than others) Also, the liner feels like you're wearing a plastic bag, it's sticky.
I was skeptical about this at first. But flipped a coin and decided to buy this jacket. Before this I had a marmot soft shell I’d use for everything. This is the best all use jacket I’ve had. Just went camping with it for the 10th time. 20mph winds at night, 30’s, to trail hiking. So comfy. Stores easy. I go everywhere with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent jacket … but I live in South Mississippi so I’m not sure how it would rate in the Frozen Tundra. But it’s great down here where the temps rarely go below 30ish. Great fit….Im 6’2” … 200 lbs and the XL is very comfortable.
Reordered this coat and glad you still had it after a number of years as just right weight for me in South Carolina for our winters so must like it if I reordered! For my husband
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was exactly as ordered. This was a replacement for a previous purchase. The coat is light weight but great for three seasons. I wore it visiting Iceland in October.
I purchased this jacket last year in a Large Tall and love it. This year they decided not to make this jacket in tall sizes, what a bummer. Please bring them back
